From professionalization and specialization to leisure tourism, the domestic camping market is currently developing rapidly.

After the camping fire, it also caused some problems, such as safety, environmental protection, and other public management issues. At present, the urgent task is for the relevant economies of the camping economy. Whether it is parks, campsites, or tent hotels, they should not only focus on making money, but also do a good job in environmental protection, establish distribution mechanisms, and especially do a good job in pre planning and pre supervision.

Camping companies must learn from the experience and lessons of shared bicycles, as they share similarities as camping sites also involve the issue of occupying public resources. If the government and relevant institutions do not set prices and standards for public land in the early stage, enterprises will excessively enter and use public land as free resources, and then add costs and regulate it afterwards, which will bring unexpected cost increases to enterprises and ultimately crush the developing enterprises. Therefore, if camping operators want to develop in the long run, they must do a good job in pre cost planning.

We should not only learn from international camping experience, but also learn from it. The camping mode in Europe and America is large-scale RV camping sites, but according to the characteristics of China's natural resources, our environmental regulations will be very strict. Therefore, it is very difficult to develop large-scale tent hotels, tents, and RV campsites in China.

In the domestic market, camping is not suitable for large-scale operation because it is highly dependent on the environment and is an environmentally fragile industry. In China, large-scale camping is a decentralized operation based on high demand. Everyone likes camping, and the overall demand scale can be large, but in terms of operation, it should be small-scale or divided into regions and locations. We should not only learn from the experience of the international camping market, but also know that large-scale camping development and operation is not advisable.

The future development of camping in China should first respect laws and return to common sense. Camping is a leisure industry based on mass tourism, and there are two major development directions in the future.

One is to develop in depth towards specialization and niche. For example, adventure clubs and extreme sports clubs offer camping products that are high priced and high-tech, with a fixed and highly sought after niche group.

Secondly, camping should not be seen as "camping+", but as "+camping". Camping itself is a form of extended accommodation. From this perspective, camping, like homestays, has become a dilemma in the development of homestays. In essence, it should be "+homestays" - we need to change our accommodation methods during tourism, research, and vacation, such as staying in a two day hotel, staying in a two day homestay, and camping for another night.

Essentially, camping and homestays are supporting facilities, serving as a complement, replacement, and novelty for mass tourism and national leisure. Therefore, the future development trend of camping is to keep up with the explosion of public leisure demand while also developing well.

At present, some mature international camping economies can provide emerging reference suggestions to help us combine camping with self driving and outdoor activities. For example, in some national parks, legal campsites are set up, indicating where camping can and cannot be done; Strengthen the management of camping sites, have regular staff inspections, and ensure the safety of the campsite; Improve public services, such as night lighting, basic water and electricity supply, etc.
